Welcome to Little Hands Bourn
Little Hands Nursery School - Bourn provides quality preschool care and education for children aged two years and over.
We occupy the main hall and an adjacent room in the Bourn Village Hall, an award-winning building with its own fully enclosed outdoor play area in the popular South Cambridgeshire village of Bourn.
Ideally situated for the expanding and increasingly popular town of Cambourne and the surrounding villages the Nursery School, comprises a large, bright and airy main room with an adjoining smaller, quieter room which leads into the garden.
The rooms were named ‘The Elephant Room’ and ‘The Mouse Room’ because of their sizes and this was from the children’s ideas when we asked them to think of something big and something small to help us to name the rooms.
The rooms each have doors leading into the other, so the layout lends itself perfectly for indoor/outdoor free-flow play. This allows the children to move between the available spaces to play and explore, but also provides the option of making areas smaller for quieter and small group play opportunities. It works brilliantly with our Learning in the Moment curriculum.
